A Personalized Paver Fundraiser Project to Recognize and Honor Past & Present Members of the GLHS Community
All alumni, family and friends of Governor Livingston High School are invited to purchase personalized pavers to be placed into Highlander Way, the constructed paver walkway near the flagpole at sword rock. Highlander Way is an opportunity to commemorate your graduation, honor family and friends, memorialize achievements and / or recognize individuals.
 
Project Graduation is the all-night, alcohol and drug-free celebration for the graduating seniors. A tradition at Governor Livingston since 1989, Project Graduation receives no funding from the school budget. Monies to support this $25,000 yearly event are raised through fundraisers, grants, business, professional, and parent donations and participant contributions. The Project Graduation Committee is a branch of the Governor Livingston PTO, which has received tax-exempt status under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly, all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
 
Orders for pavers are taken year-round. All orders will be installed in the spring of the school year. The deadline for the spring 2024 installation is February 1, 2024. While it is our hope that the pavers will be installed in time for graduation, we cannot guarantee an exact date. Please note: The Berkeley Heights Board of Education will have final approval of the text. Placement of personalized pavers will be determined by the installers.
